Survey Project Manager

The Civil Division of KPFF Los Angeles is actively hiring for the position of Survey Project Manager. Applications should include resume and cover letter.

Responsibilities :

Organizes, manages and directs field survey crew in completing boundary, topographic, ALTA, right of way, construction staking, and subdivision projects for public and private clients. Applicant calculates and analyzes field boundary data, assists field survey crews on complex survey engagements, performs survey research, prepares various survey deliverables such as ALTA’s, Subdivision Maps, Legal Descriptions, Construction Staking Calculations, and Condominium Plans. Applicant should be able to proficiently take various survey projects from start to finish. This candidate will market new work, submit proposals, manage the project schedule, manage and delegate tasks to staff (field and office), perform quality review, sign and stamp deliverables, manage client expectations to execute project deliverables on time and within budget. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are necessary.

Applicant shall demonstrate the knowledge and application of fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures of surveying and possess knowledge of related fields and areas of operation which affect, or are affected by own area of expertise. California P.L.S. license required.
