Job Description:

Manages the development and implementation of community education and outreach programs and initiatives that support a college, program or center. Assists in the expansion of consumer/provider participation for the UH Healthy Start Community Action Network (C.A.N).Job Duties

Education:

Requires a thorough understanding of both theoretical and practical aspects of an analytical, technical or professional discipline; or the basic knowledge of more than one professional discipline. Knowledge of the discipline is normally obtained through a formal, directly job-related 4 year degree from a college or university or an equivalent in-depth specialized training program that is directly related to the type of work being performed.

Additional Job Posting Information:

Preferred: Master's degree in Public Health or Community Health.Experience: Requires a minimum of three (3) years of directly job-related experience. Experience investigating discrimination cases preferred.

It is a person who will take charge of leading the public impact aim of the Healthy Start grant. They need to facilitate meetings with community stakeholders like public health officials, doctors etc as well as be able to connect with our clientele.
