Work with business development, general counsel, and other stakeholders to draft revenue generating commercial contracts for pipeline and terminal operations in the Products Pipelines business unit.
Position job title will be assigned, depending on the qualifications, skill sets and experience of the successful candidate.
Essential duties and responsibilities:
Facilitate drafting of contracts by entering contract variables into KM in-house contract management system, create draft document, track status including redlines and approvals, utilize eSignature program to bring contract to full execution.
Adherence to SOX Controls
Provide support to business development group and general counsel
Consistently maintain and demonstrate a high regard for personal safety, for the safety of company assets, employees, and the general public.
Other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements
Minimum requirements:Education:
BS or BA degree, or equivalent experience, in Law, Contract Management, Finance, Accounting, Marketing or General Business.
1-3 Years in a contract drafting and/or paralegal related position requiring drafting, execution, and management of contracts is strongly preferred.
Excellent computer skills including the use of Microsoft Excel and Outlook .
Must possess skills in grammar and techniques of business composition.
Excellent interpersonal communication skills for dealing with co-workers and customers.
Ability to read and comprehend business contracts through work or educational experience.
Experience / Specific Knowledge: Certification, licenses, registrations:
A satisfactory driving record as determined by the Company and a current, valid State driver's license are required.

Ability to work in office environment at a work station, usually sitting, for long periods of time.
Ability to work remotely (telecommute), if required.

Working Conditions:
Overtime required and extended work hours, including (weekends, holidays, etc.)
Travel may be required, including overnight stays for several days.
Majority of the work will be conducted from an office environment - controlled temperature.
