DESCRIPTION:

Lee Memorial is seeking candidates with excellent customer service for the PART TIME Hospitalist Access Specialist position.
Please only apply if you are seeking part time employment working approximately 32 hours per pay period from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm. This is a very fast paced environment and the ideal candidate will have experience working in a team and prioritizing important tasks.

The Hospitalist Access Center Specialists is often the first point of contact for hospital admissions and hospitalist communication. This role involves taking inbound calls from providers, physician offices, emergency rooms, and hospital staff. The Hospitalist Access Specialist plays a key role in Lee Healths success. This interaction with hospital staff impacts emergency room wait times and provider contact time. Therefore, efficiency, productivity, and superior customer service are essential to success in this job role. Lee Health is committed to delivering the highest quality service with an exceptional customer experience. -Responsible for recording data entry, consolidation, clean-up, and analysis of customer contacts within Lee Health -Collaborate and support interdisciplinary care teams by communicating changes to Hospitalist staffing and sharing daily physician rotation -Efficient communication to over 300 hospitalist providers regarding patient admissions and transfers. The person in this position must be comfortable in a fast pace environment and possess the ability to prioritize, be extremely detailed-oriented, organized, a team player, and flexible. In addition, they will exhibit a strong desire and willingness to learn and grow with the department.
