*FULL TIME ATHLETIC TRAINER POSITION AVAILABLE - RWJ HAMILTON*
Immediate opportunity to join our growing AT service line as a valued member of a growth-minded, cross-functional healthcare team within the most comprehensive healthcare system in New Jersey. Seeking a FULL TIME New Jersey-licensed (or pending) Athletic Trainer to join the RWJBarnabas Health team, based out of RWJ Hamilton Hospital hub. You will play a key role in our Mercer County-area sports medicine program growth and be involved with the provision of healthcare care within the secondary school, collegiate, occupational / industrial / performance arts, and clinical settings. AT will also assist Manager with RWJ Hamilton department administrative/process improvement projects.
Primary duties will include (but not be limited to) the following:
* Play lead role in the development of exciting new athletic trainer clinical and community outreach initiatives.
* Provide float AT support to various RWJ Hamilton AT partnerships (must be willing to travel for work throughout Mercer, Hunterton, Somerset, and Middlesex Counties; mileage reimbursement available)
* Community outreach: Assist with coordinating and delivering educational workshops and health screenings and with coordination of monthly MCAT (Mercer County Athletic Trainer) ShopTalk events
* Assist Manager with bridging RWJ Hamilton Service Lines with community partnerships, serving and adding value to our community partnership relationships
* Involvement with Sports Medicine department Process Improvement, with RWJBH Athletic Training committees/liaisons responsibilities
* Additional clinical support for RWJ Hamilton Physical Therapy clinics when needed
Requirements
* Looking for a minimum of 5 years' professional experience as an AT (Previous experience with industrial AT and/or physician-based clinical support a bonus)
* Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Athletic Training w/ completed BOC certification
* NJ state licensed AT (or pending)
* Current NJ Department of Education Certificate (or pending) and must be able to produce proof of criminal background fingerprinting
* Active CPR/AED Professional Rescuer (or equivalent)
