The HIM Department is comprised of many complex multi-faceted units.

Responsibilities
The Health Information Systems Administrative Assistant supports all systems associated with the Medical Services Abstracting Unit and Centralized Clinic Coding Unit. Performs a variety of duties relating to administrative support to the Analyst team as well as application support, Epic Care, Resolute and related Epic applications. Primary functions include providing collaboration and support for technical resources for the analyst team, report writing, reconciliation, development and maintenance of spreadsheets and records ensuring continuance of coding revenue stream within the organization. Manages multiple projects, design and develop layout in programs. Accurately maintains and updates data tables, extracts data and creates reports from database platforms.
Required Qualifications
* Experience with Epic Electronic Medical Record revenue verification
* Proficiency with Office Excel, Word, Power Point, Access, Sharepoint, Outlook
* Experience developing, building, and supporting healthcare information systems
* Excellent written and verbal customer service skills
* Experience working under pressure and deadlines and conflicting priorities
Preferred Qualifications
* Familiarity with medical coding
* Knowledge of University Policy and Procedures relating to purchasing, travel, entertainment, transfers of expense, and invoicing
