SCHEDULE: FLEXIBLE, PART-TIME: ~25 HOURS/WEEK

JOB SUMMARY
The Agriculture Technical Support Representative provides a basic level of assistance to business partners, resellers, end-users along with internal Trimble teams relating to product information and technical support. These positions provide an opportunity to interact with Precision Agriculture and GPS systems used by the modern-day farmer. This includes but is not limited to Autonomously steered farm equipment, implement and machine controls, crop sensors, and many other precision agriculture solutions used in the modern-day market. Success in this position involves time spent on training, teamwork, time invested in technical support related issues, and responsibility to provide customer care & support.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provide fast and efficient Tier 1 customer service to business partners, dealers, and end-users

Redirect incorrectly routed cases submitted in the region to Priority Support
*

Work closely with Priority Support for technical support and product issues
*

Provide input to team and manager on competitive products and activities

RECOMMENDED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

*

Candidates currently pursuing their undergraduate degree or in the second year of their associate's program in business, Ag business, or Ag field
*

Experience working in the Ag field or having an Ag related background
*

Experienced with Microsoft Office applications
*

Must be comfortable with learning new computer applications
*

Customer service experience or experience in a customer-facing role
*

Possesses strong communication skills, both verbal and written
*

Fluent in English, and other languages a plus
*

Ability to collaborate with team members both in person and virtually (email, phone, conference calls)
*

Must be a team player and be able to leverage resources through sound organizational skills and teamwork
*

Possess strong problem-solving skills
*

Must demonstrate and project a high level of energy and enthusiasm
