Position Description
Einstein Healthcare Network is a private, not for profit organization with several major facilities and many outpatient centers. We are looking for an experienced Pharmacy Technician to work in our Pharmacy department! Two weekends per month required.
In this position you will be responsible for:
- Performing technical duties in support of the provision of pharmaceutical care under the supervision of the pharmacist, including production, repackaging and distribution
- Performing daily cart exchange procedure
If you possess the following qualifications, please apply immediately:
- High School graduate and computer proficiency required
- Training in an accredited hospital pharmacy technician training program or equivalent combination of education and experience, or enrolled in a ACPE accredited pharmacy school program required
- Certification through PTCB required
- Computer proficiency required
- Successful passing of a pharmacy calculations test required
- Previous hospital/IV experience preferred
Physical Demand Analysis:
- Physical Requirements: Standing for extended periods during shift. Walking, lifting up to 50 pounds, pushing up to 100 pounds, fine manual dexterity
- Visual Requirements: Near vision (corrected or not)
- Hearing Requirements: Ability to hear normal conversations
- Working Conditions: Climate-controlled interior environment
