Position Description


Einstein Healthcare Network is a private, not for profit organization with several major facilities and many outpatient centers. In this role you will be responsible for:
- Assisting with strategic and business planning, market research, and service line and corporate business development
- Utilizing various planning tools to analyze and develop appropriate demographic and statistical indicators for evaluating services, providers, health systems and markets
- Working closely with the Director of Planning and Vice President for Planning and Business Development
- Assisting in managing key organizational strategic projects
- Conducting research, collecting/analyzing data, and preparing reports to support system wide decision making, the preparation of strategic plans and related documents and studies responsive to EHN mission
- Providing support toward the development of strategic goals/objectives and operational issues relating to business development
- Conducting market assessments and competitive analysis to identify, analyze and monitor trends that affect profitability and productivity
- Monitoring and collecting information on competitor activity
- Collecting and reporting implementation and outcome metrics for approved business plans
- Assisting in the preparation and evaluation of financial statements and related strategic documents for proposed projects and ventures
- Developing a strong understanding of existing data resources and utilize demographic and market sizing tools to access, extract and execute on data
If you possess the following qualifications, please apply immediately:
- Bachelors degree in business, health care administration or related field required (Masters preferred)
- One to three years experience in strategic planning, marketing, financial analysis or related area required. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted
- Capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously and navigating the structure of a large organization
- Experience utilizing software programs to collect maintain, manipulate and present data
- Strong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Ability to develop analyses and effectively use and interpret data
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
- Familiarity with ICD-9 diagnosis /procedure coding, and the MS-DRG payment system preferred
- Multidisciplinary project coordination experience preferred
- Team player with positive attitude
