Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
- Defining the overall test strategy for the project, in partnership with design and other test leads
- Definition, tracking and organization of the test schedule and activities
- Overseeing the test budget
- Defining and oversight of the overall test schedule
- Close collaboration with internal & external stakeholders as well as 3 rd parties
- Providing project test status and test documentation
Key Skills:
- Proven leadership and negotiation skills
- Solid understanding of test activities for electronic devices
- Experience writing test strategies and test plans
- Excellent verbal and written communications
- Ability to collaborate with local and remote teams
- Estimation and scheduling experience
Desired Skills:
- Experience and/or exposure to test standards
- Experience and/or exposure to achieving product certification
- Experience with MS Project (or similar scheduling tool)
- Experience with test management software
- Experience testing embedded devices (hardware and firmware)
- Minimum of 5 years validation / verification testing of electronic assemblies
- Demonstrated strong and effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Must be team-oriented, possess a positive attitude and work well with others
- Driven problem solver with proven success in solving challenging problems
- Knowledge of communication systems
- BSEE
