Job Description:

Meet and assess new residents for the Independent Living and the Residential Assisted Living areas.  Assess residents that are transitioning back into Independent Living from RAL. 

Respond to emergencies in Independent Living and other common areas of the campus.  Provide First Aid care for residents and staff.

Complete wound care for Independent Living residents and Residential Assisted Living.

Set up and maintain appointments for both the Clinic and outside medical care for Independent Living residents.  Monitor blood pressure checks, labs and X-rays for Independent Living residents.

Assist with Employee Health matters-PPD's, Vaccines and Workers' Comp related health concerns. 

Coordinate and maintain schedules for physicians that visit the community's clinic.

Conduct weekly "Level of Care" meetings.

Maintain current demographics of all the Independent Living residents (Face Sheets).

Prepare and conduct monthly educational seminars on medications, maintaining healthly blood sugar levels and other health related matters.

Experience

Required

• Must be familiar with long term care of the older adults and able to function independently.

• 5 year(s): Must be RN in State of Florida
