Job Description


  • Under limited supervision or independently, performs collateral review and evaluation for larger, more complex transactions according to investor or other applicable requirements or guidelines. May exercise some exception and approval authority.

  • Determines acceptability of collateral, using policies and procedures and appropriate tools to review appraisals and evaluations and identify and mitigate risks. May perform reviews for other teams or groups. Complies with or assists with the identification and/or confirmation of all external regulatory requirements. Ensures internal policies/procedures are followed.

  • Contacts internal/external customers and other parties as appropriate to gather information and to clarify inconsistent, incorrect or missing information.

  • Verifies data integrity within relevant systems.

  • Provides training/onboarding for new team members and assists in the review of their work.

Standard Operating Procedures – Knowledge of and ability to design, implement and evaluate standard operating procedures affecting daily and strategic business operations in order to increase operational efficiency.

Work Experience

Roles at this level typically require a university / college degree with < 1 year of professional experience and/or successful completion of a formal development program. In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education and experience (including military service) may be considered.
