Working under direct supervision, the Biomedical Informatics Programmer/Analyst will serve as an integral member of the University of Nebraska Medical Center’s PCORnet/CRANE (de-identified Electronic Health Record data) team in 1)understanding current and future patient-level common data models; 2) updating infrastructure to support changes in data models, including new data elements and participation in additional research networks; 3) creating, updating, and working with existing ETL scripts to integrate biomedical and other patient-level data into the UNMC integrated clinical research data warehouse; 4) understanding and utilizing data structures, schemas, and data dictionaries to support infrastructure building and documentation standards; and 5) maintaining database integrity and performing robust quality checks in support of research protocols.Omaha, NE
