As an Innovation Projects Manager with E. & J. Gallo Winery, you will be responsible for managing complex Innovation initiatives to develop and commercialize new brands and products. Additionally, you will be responsible for leading the development of all new brands and/or products in the organization. In this role, you will lead cross-functional teams with the goal of bringing new initiatives from idea to market and work seamlessly with assigned cross-functional teams to deliver information and updates to leadership frequently. Ensures that decisions are made in a timely fashion to deliver innovation to the market.

What You Will Do

• Monitors and evaluates innovation processes from end to end, identifies problems with processes along the way and works to implement solutions.


• Diagnoses root cause of innovation process problems and recommends potential solutions


• Develops and Implements new capabilities and processes that improve Innovation Team and Enterprise Operations.


• Participates in all aspects of liquid and/or brand development, serving as the liaison between Central Innovation and cross functional partners from inception of the project through completion.


• Define and identifies resources and sets priorities to ensure project success.


• Leverages specific knowledge of the organization (cellar operations/ regulatory/ marketing/ wine style and product guidance etc) to progress initiatives through completion.

What You Need

• Bachelor's degree plus 7 years of experience in Scrum/Agile, Process Improvement, New Product Development, Operations, or Supply Chain to include experience leading cross-functional projects reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR Bachelor’s degree plus 6 years of Gallo winery experience in Lean Six Sigma, Scrum/Agile, Process Improvement, New Product Development, Operations, Supply Chain, Sales or Wine Style/Sensory to include experience leading cross-functional projects reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR Master’s degree plus 5 years of experience in Scrum/Agile, Process Improvement, New Product Development, Operations, or Supply Chain to include experience leading cross-functional projects reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR Master’s degree plus 4 years of Gallo winery experience in Lean Six Sigma, Scrum/Agile, Process Improvement, New Product Development, Operations, Supply Chain, Sales or Wine Style/Sensory to include experience leading cross-functional projects reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.


• Demonstrated strong project management skills.


• Experience working with all levels and functions within a Company.


• Required to see, smell and taste wine as part of job duties.


• Required to be 21 years of age or older.


• Experience with effectively presenting information to top management, public groups, and boards of directors.


• Ability to handle ambiguity and constant change.


• Computer skills requirements include: MS Outlook, MS Word, MS Excel, MS Project and MS PowerPoint.

What Will Set You Apart

• Bachelor’s degree plus 8 years of experience in project management reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.


• Masters in Business Administration or Master’s degree


• Project Management Professional Certification (PMP) and/or Black Belt Certification


• CPG or Alcohol beverage experience.
