A typical branch office has one financial advisor who meets with clients face-to-face and one branch office administrator who enhances the team's ability to build deep relationships with clients. Headquarters associates in St. Louis and Tempe provide support and expertise to help U.S. and Canada branch teams deliver an ideal client experience. Edward Jones currently has more branch offices than any other financial services firm, and we continue to grow to meet the needs of long-term individual investors.

The Branch Real Estate team is responsible for supporting the physical branch office needs of the firm and each branch team.  We coordinate the leasing, construction, lease administration, and maintenance of more than 15,000 branch office locations.  We perform these duties in a way to maximize value and minimize disruptions to our branch teams, allowing them to continue to focus on the needs of our clients.

 
Branch Real Estate has an opportunity for a Project Leader to represent the department on multiple firm-sponsored initiatives, as well as manage all projects for the department.  As a member of the Branch Real Estate leadership team, this Project Leader will assume business leader and decision-making responsibilities beyond the typical project/program management role.

However, this role has traditionally been located on-site in a home office location and may be required to return to that location at some point in the future.   • A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required

  • 5+ years of relevant work experience and experience leading large projects

  • PMP or Agile certifications are a plus

  • Experience facilitating scope discussions and developing consolidated work

  • Experience with creating, monitoring, and interpreting program / project / project performance metrics through the entire development lifecycles

  • Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills; effectively communicates with project team, other project leaders, multiple areas, divisions and outside vendors.  Incorporates effective listening and collaboration skills.  Leverages experience and knowledge to influence others and outcomes

  • Stakeholder management and decision-making skills to influence positive program / project outcomes

  • Ability to prioritize and execute on multiple tasks/projects and autonomously adjust to changing priorities

  • Excellent presentation skills and ability to summarize complex information and concepts and clearly communicate to various audiences

  • Experience developing/ utilizing Project Plans, Communication Plans, requirement gathering, etc.
