Summary of Job Function:

Serves as principal personal assistant to Chairman of Board, Board of Trustees Officers, and Board of Trustees members by performing in a highly confidential, independent manner. Serves as the hospital liaison between Corporate, MMC and Board of Trustees.

Serves as principal personal assistant to Executive Director for meetings he chairs and is responsible for preparing packets, disseminating materials, taking minutes and transcribing meetings for all Board Committees and for offsite retreats related to Board of Trustees. Responsible for transcribing minutes of Management Team meetings for the Executive Director.

Prepares information, booklets, Orientation agenda and books, Trustee profiles and books, Welcome Packets, Trustee profiles as appropriate. Meets all deadlines for Board of Trustees, Corporate, the Executive Director and COO. Handles all Board requests as appropriate.

Job Qualifications:

Five years Executive secretarial experience within a hospital environment demonstrating complete knowledge of office procedures and an in-depth understanding of hospital terms, finances and functions. Must be a self-starter, able to work alone with minimum supervision, proven ability to meet deadlines sometimes under tight time restraints, and have a good business sense. Six months to demonstrate an understanding and application of departmental and Trustee procedures and policies. Computer literacy, dictation and transcription, typing skills at least 75 wpm, appropriate language skills, strong people skills, ability to draft correspondence, organize workload to meet strict timelines, and willingness to do whatever it takes to get the job done. Well-rounded knowledge of business procedures and general working understanding of accounting/bookkeeping concepts.We offer a great work environment, competitive rates and excellent benefits, including:
