Smiths Medical is currently hiring a Quality Coordinator in Dublin, OH.
The Quality Coordinator will be responsible for assuring product quality, and compliance to existing regulations (FDA QSR: Quality System Regulation, ISO: International Standards, Divisional Policies, Divisional and Site procedures, GMP: Good Manufacturing Practices).

* Ensure compliance to existing policies and procedures.
* Conduct product inspections as required (routine/special projects).
* Daily audits of DHR records for compliance and conformance to specifications/regulatory requirements.
* Generate reports on quality related data (NCs, Holds, etc.) as needed.
* Participate on teams working on improvements to the quality system and continuous improvement projects.
* Conduct operator certification audits (as applicable) and product traces in support of complaint investigations, audits, etc.
* Perform specific departmental tasks such as audit scheduling, records management activities, and ORACLE transactions as required.
* Assist with operations quality projects or other projects as required (Example: qualifications testing, etc.)
* Generate Certificates of Analysis and Certificates of Conformance as required
* Ensure compliance to company policies/standards regarding Environmental, Safety and Health and quality.
* This position is required to assure compliance of Company operations to all applicable laws, regulations and standards, good business practices and company documented procedures (including knowledge of all standards, government occupational health and environmental regulations and statutes related to the site).
* Engage others, promote, and participate in Environmental, Health, and Safety initiatives, focusing on continuous improvement.

* Associate degree or technical equivalent preferred
* High School or equivalent, required with a minimum 1 2 years of quality assurance or relevant experience. Knowledge of quality policies and procedures
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills are necessary to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.
* Basic computer skills training
* Recurring physical demands include sitting, standing, walking, crouching, using tools, lifting up to 25 lbs. and pushing up to 25 lbs
* Ability to work independently and recognize when to seek guidance
* Ability to assist with problem solving
* Ability to handle multiple tasks and be detail oriented
* Able and willing to train in multiple business areas to support business needs
* Education requirements can be obtained through an educational institution or gained through equivalent work experience.
