General Summary
The SeniorApplicationEngineer will support technical activities related to LTE/Cellular Technologies, including the regulatory and operator certification process.
Essential Job Responsibilities
- Closely support operators certification activities - needsa hands-on knowledge of LTE/Cellular Technologies as well as be intimate with the certification process.
- Support customers on all stage of project life cycles for new and existing business.
- Provide front line technical support, training to customers, help customer to understand and develop product with 1SC/1SE.
- Analyze application, LTE protocol and performance issues in the lab or in the field and narrow them down to the root cause.
- Reproduce technical issues in simulation or on Company's hardware platforms.
- Provide reactive technical support to customers reported cases: Address Q&A; Troubleshoot integration issues.

Required Qualifications
- B.S. degree or above in electrical engineering, communications and computing or equivalent.
- System-level knowledge of wireless access systems or other similar wired or wireless systems.
- Solid experience in creating custom PC tools to debug/test/certify the module (C#, Python, etc).
- Good understanding on UDP/TCP/IP.
- Team player, commitment & customer focus.
- Excellent written and oral communications skills, fluent English.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experienced on hardware bring up, peripheral interfaces test and debug, RF experience is a plus.
- Knowledge of LTE protocol and VoIP will be a plus.
- FreeRTOS experience would be a plus.
- Experience with a R&S CMW500 is a plus
Travel
Regular domestic travel and occasional international travel required.
