WHAT WE DO

Our award-winning Enterprise Imaging software solutions allow physicians to quickly, efficiently, and accurately access data and provide critical care to patients across the healthcare organization.  We do this by providing scalable and robust services that connect our clinical applications with many different hospital systems.  

Our product runs primarily on Windows and needs to scale from a single workstation to full enterprise spanning multiple datacenters. The data required to accomplish these tasks must be processed quickly, efficiently, and accurately so that care is not delayed. 

OUR TEAM

We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our DevOps team. As a Senior DevOps Engineer on this team, you will have opportunities to solve complex problems that have an enormous impact on people’s lives. 

OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE

The Senior DevOps Engineer will bring 5+ years of experience working within agile teams creating and delivering quality software, as well as strong analytical skills, with excellent problem-solving abilities.  The Senior DevOps Engineer is flexible and highly adaptable to changes in development infrastructure and new technology standards and must strive to make improvements. Contributions will include software development process improvement, creation of software designs using design patterns, automation, and development technical support.  Basic knowledge of software configuration management, Release Engineering, and basic understanding of software development tools will be required.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Providing guidance on new technologies and continuous improvement in best practices


• Leading the design and implementation of software features


• Providing technical expertise to architects, analysts, and other developers


• Provide leadership and mentorship to other DevOps Engineers


• Researching, implementation and development of software development tools


• Assisting in the development and deployment of Vital Images products and services


• Creating, improving and maintaining documentation


• Providing training to support development processes and tools

• Atlassian suite (JIRA/Confluence/BitBucket)


• Gradle, Artifactory, BinTray
