As a Supply Planning Analyst at E. & J. Gallo Winery, you will have a challenging front line impact on the control and success of the winery.  You will be a front line leader in the winery and engage in specific facets of the business process – scheduling, production, transportation, distribution, customer service, and more! In short, Supply Planning Analysts are the foundation that support the operational strategy and vision of the winery.  Their performance supports the winery drive scheduled & controlled execution, monitors key performance indicators and advises supply chain leaders on continuous improvement.

What You Will Do:

Process/System Understanding

• Schedule requirements using ERP Production Planning Module


• Monitor the Distribution Requirement Plan, and makes recommendation priorities based on customer needs and production availability


• Update and maintain the weekly schedule for all winery products

Performance Management

• Review and prepare target customer service levels and inventory turn levels based on forecast error and bias trends, manufacturing capacity and customer service and inventory turns


• Review and prepare actual versus scheduled production metrics weekly and ensure compliance to schedule is achievable. (Schedule Compliance Metric)

Cross-Functional Leadership 

• Resolve issues by presenting various alternatives for decision during daily strategic alignment meetings


• Present and participate in meetings, and keep up to date on issues related to Manufacturing, Planning, Metrics, and other related Supply Chain issues

What You Need:

• Bachelor's degree; OR High School diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate plus 4 years of supply chain, corporate finance, engineering, sourcing , production/operations experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility

What will set you apart:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or Operations Management plus 2 years of supply chain planning experience
