JOB DESCRIPTION:

Applied Research Associates, Inc. (ARA) is seeking an Intelligence Analyst with background in intelligence analysis and reporting. The successful applicant will have experience monitoring, analyzing, and reporting WMD intelligence with a focus on delivering all-source WMD intelligence analysis to support decisions and actions. Responsibilities for this position include: reviewing all-source intelligence concerning a designated functional or regional area; identifying and prioritizing information against standing intelligence requirements; responding to RFIs from a variety of parties, responding directly to leadership tasking’s by monitoring CWMD threat intelligence; delivering analysis products to senior leaders; and providing support to Command planning efforts.

This position requires an Associate's degree and at least 5 years of direct experience in intelligence analysis.

Applicants must possess an Active Department of Defense Top Secret clearance with SCI access.

Required Skills:


  • Associate's degree or relevant training, and experience conducting intelligence analysis and exploitation.  Bachelor’s degree preferred

  • Training in CI, HUMINT, SIGINT, or All Source Analysis

  • Strong base of skills in intelligence systems and tools, query capabilities, and critical thinking skills

  • Knowledge of principles, concepts, and techniques of analysis and methodologies related to military intelligence

  • Ability to monitor reporting and identify relevance/impact for customer base

  • Ability to respond to requests for information and provide briefings to senior decision-makers

Required Experience:


  • 5+ years of related intelligence analysis experience

  • Experience in national or command intelligence

  • Experience with intelligence community system tools

  • Experience with CBRN/WMD-related intelligence and the CWMD community preferred

  • Active Department of Defense Top Secret clearance with SCI access
