Overview:
Undergraduate and Graduate Students are encouraged to apply for the SOM
Shadowing Program. The program gives invaluable experience, mentorship and guidance to talented students who plan to pursue a career in Architecture, Engineering or related fields. During the week-long remote program, selected students will rotate through SOM departments to gain a well-rounded perspective on the work of the firm and the day-to-day experience of SOM design professionals.
Connect with professionals in various positions and departments who will share their educational and work experiences.
Gain a comprehensive understanding of the skills and educational requirements to pursue a career in architecture or related fields.
Students will be given the opportunity to attend scheduled online lectures and events with professionals and other students.
Accompany a team to a virtual site visit, attend virtual project meetings, assist with graphic or organizational tasks, and grow your knowledge of the world of architecture.
Learn first-hand about the many career paths within architecture, engineering, and design fields and glean insight into discovering your own passions.
Qualifications:
Current Enrollment in a Graduate or Undergraduate program of Architecture, Engineering, or a related Design field.
