We have an opportunity for a Human Resources Generalist to join our Dover, NH team. In this role, you will provide leadership and support to our manufacturing operations leadership on a variety of areas to include org design & structure, talent management, recruiting and staffing, compensation, benefits, legal compliance, policy and procedure development and administration, employee relations, and strategic planning that further the mission, values and strategic vision for Pentair Filtration Solutions and the Dover, NH manufacturing operation.

You will:

* Partner with the operations leaders on a broad range of HR initiatives and programs in support of our manufacturing operations, lean initiatives, and PIMS programs within the Dover facility.

* Drive implementation and execution of PIMS (Pentair Integrated Manufacturing Systems) goals, objectives, strategies, and tactics in alignment with HR functional priorities for the location.

* Drive OnePentair culture. Leverage our values, PIMS, key culture concepts and guiding behaviors, to drive accountability and engagement throughout operations; strengthen and develop culture, and build engagement and positive employee relations strategies across our operating locations.

* Develop and implement HR metrics to support plant operations. Analyze HR performance, develop RCCM s/A3 s to achieve expectations on key HR initiatives. Utilize lean principles, continuous improvement methodology, strategy deployment and other methods to achieve a culture focused on growth and operational excellence.

* Lead performance management process, talent acquisition, and talent development at exempt & non-exempt levels for operations employees. Identify and implement processes to improve capability in leaders, managers, and employees through training and development initiatives. Provide guidance on performance management, career coaching, progressive discipline at the location. Identify, develop, and implement talent processes to improve associate development for non-exempt employees.

* Lead organizational design discussions and support Plant Ops leader in org structure evaluation as required. Review current site level ops structure (including talent assessments & gaps) and recommend improvements where applicable to align operations with our future growth needs; partner with Plant Ops leader to identify opportunities for talent upgrade, employee development, redeployment and reorganization.

* Evaluate and manage the current hourly compensation structure and make recommendations to improve market competitiveness and alignment of wage structures to plant operational needs where applicable. Manage existing corporate driven comp and benefit programs as required.

* Identify, develop, and/or implement training programs for managers and employees, including new hire training, skill building programs, shop floor cross-training, and training for employee development

* Drive continuous improvement by evaluating existing processes and focusing on improvement of tools, digitization, process controls, etc. and increasing the overall efficiency of the HR function.

* Manage employee relations issues, build engagement, and resolve employee concerns effectively. Provide daily support to non-exempt employees for all questions, concerns, and inquiries.

* Manage local labor compliance requirements.

* Manage HR administrative processes related to timekeeping (Kronos), payroll processing, leave management, benefits administration, HRIS data entry & maintenance, etc.

* Recruit & hire non-exempt employees, conduct new hire orientation, prepare materials, and complete on-boarding paperwork for new employees.

Key Qualifications:

* Five years of combined experience with recruiting, employee relations, benefits, payroll, training, and/or communication.

* Competent working in time keeping (e.g. Kronos or related) and HRIS (e.g. Workday or related) applications.

* Functional knowledge of local and federal employment law.

* Formal or informal project management experience.

* Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
