Job Description:

Position Summary:
The Warehouse Funder is responsible for collateral management, management reporting, wire settlement and cross trained on the review of wire requests for accuracy and deficiencies prior to funding on the customers warehouse Facility.

Essential Functions: *


  1. Reviews outgoing wire requests in warehouse system and verifies data matches supporting documents.

  2. Approves and disburses wires in the warehouse system and updates with Fed Reference number.

  3. Monitors incoming wires and ensures that all wires are input and settled in the warehouse system.

  4. Keys wire information into core banking system for processing.

  5. Audits collateral documents from lenders and processes them in the WLS Client System.

  6. Prepares and delivers Allonge, Note (with executive management signature), Power of Attorney copy, Bailee Letter and any other documentation provided with Note to investor.

  7. Delivers collateral packages to investors.

  8. Prepares UPS tracking label and updates WLS client system with tracking information.

  9. Maintains database of closing agents in warehouse system. Verifies that wire instructions and E&O are current for each agent.

  10. Responds to incoming email communication from closing agents.

  11. Participates in on-going training to develop further knowledge of the industry and changes that affect department.

  12. Must be able to work overtime as work volume and staffing issues dictate.

  13. Contribute to the bank team effort by working on special projects and reports, performing other job-related duties, at the discretion of the Director.

Preferred Education/Experience/Software:
Associates or bachelor’s degree in related field or 3 years of experience within the mortgage and/or financial services industry is preferred.   Three to five years’ experience in a regulatory environment with an understanding of residential mortgage/real estate loan closing or funding process are required.  Three to five years of supervisory experience preferred.  Knowledgeable in a wide range of PC based retail banking related software. 

Additional Requirements:  
The responsibility to acquire and maintain the required knowledge of State and Federal Banking regulations and policies.  

Training:
Responsible for the timely completion of all required compliance training such has BSA, Information Security, and other job specific training as assigned.

Work Environment/Physical Demands:
Professional office environment. While performing the duties of this position, the team member is regularly required to operate standard office equipment.  The team member is frequently required to communicate and perceive.   The position is primarily stationary and not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions and requires sedentary work such as exerting up to 10 pounds of force 5% of the time and a negligible amount of force approximately 95% of the time.
