This position supports the design of innovative and engaging training content for our US Medical Network Contracting programs. This individual contributor partners closely with the USMNC local market teams and leadership as well as a variety of matrix partners in our Government and Solutions business unit to design and develop training for our US Medical Network Contracting teams. Recognizing the immediacy and accessibility needs for our audience, the role is responsible for identifying the best tools and design approach to bring content to life focusing on a modular, micro learning approach.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Acts as the face of the USNMC Learning CoE throughout content design and development process for smaller-scaled training initiatives. May support pieces of larger training-related projects. Acts as ongoing point of contact for sponsors and stakeholders. Gathers and influences consensus among stakeholders, managing projects from design to delivery with agreed upon milestones met and delivery date.
Participates in the strategy setting discussions with USMNC Program Managers, internal customer representation, and subject matter experts in support of delivering the training strategy based on training roadmap and segment priorities.
Collaborates with other functions to ensure that course materials reflect current specifications and to obtain information on new processes, IT programs and equipment.
Designs strategic and innovative solutions for development, deployment, retention, and reinforcement including measurement of results.
Design/Develops video learning using Camtasia, Captivate, or similar programs
Design/Develops web based learning using Articulate 360 suite of authoring tools
Design/Develops learning job aids, interactive PDFs, digital magazines, infographics
Utilizes skills to support design of both Instructor-led programs as well as eLearning content
Demonstrates technical writing and script writing expertise in creating resources
Familiarity with Brainshark or other training platform to house and launch training
Develop training in an Agile project environment to meet the changing needs of sales
Updates existing courses based on business needs and ongoing evaluation of training effectiveness
Tracks participant attendance and performance using Cigna University’s learning management system or other tools
Manages user profiles within Brainshark and the LMS for new and existing employees. Maintains and develops, as needed, distribution lists used for learning events.
Acts as host for learning events, as needed.
Manages USMNC Learning CoE mailbox and triages message, as needed.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s Degree required and/or Professional Certifications in Learning and Development considered
Expert in the use of Microsoft Office Suite including PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
Minimum 3 years’ experience developing visually outstanding video and ELearning programs
High proficiency in video, screen and audio capture, editing and graphics in an instructional or training setting
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Working knowledge instructional design methodology
Strong project and process management skills and ability to manage multiple projects with multiple stakeholders in fast-paced environment
2+ years’ experience with Camtasia, Adobe Presenter, Captivate, Articulate Storyline, InDesign, PowerPoint, Brainshark or similar programs
Knowledge and experience using the following methodologies-ADDIE/SAM Methodology/AGILE Instructional Design/ Design Thinking
Team player with proven ability to manage strong working relationships within a matrix organization
Knowledge of Healthcare, Medicare Advantage or provider contracting strongly desired
Learning Management System Administration experience a plus
Must be willing to travel up to 25% of the time
Demonstration/Work Samples
Candidate will be required to conduct a training demonstration using original materials they have developed
