ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:

• Maintain work flow to manufacturing to meet production schedule for multiple product lines.


• Use OPS / CAM software for programming and nesting of sheet metal parts for laser and turret punch.


• Use OPS / CAM software for programming of automated bending equipment.


• Optimize steel utilization and produce a documented reduction in scrap / publish measurement.


• Optimize use of multiple CNC cutting machines to maximize workflow.


• Trouble-shoot all nesting / programming issues.


• Develop and maintain CNC work instructions / training manual.


• Suggest design changes in order to impact ability to punch and panel bend.  Work with Engineering to implement changes.


• Convert CAD drawings for use in CAM software.


• Support plant PFEP achievement.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

• Proficiency in SolidWorks and CAM software.


• Proficient use of Microsoft Excel.


• Ability to multi-task and be flexible with job duties.


• Must display good organization and communication skills.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: 

• Associates degree in Industrial Technology or related field with a minimum of three years’ experience with AutoCad, Solid Modeling, Excel and CNC programming. 


• Bachelor’s degree preferred.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

WORKING CONDITION:

•  General office environment with frequent time spent on the plant floor.
