AMETEK’s Financial Management Program starts with you! Our commitment is to provide you with challenging professional assignments to prepare you to become part of AMETEK’s Financial Management team at completion of the program. Additionally, you can expect the following:

You will participate in three rotational assignments based in our offices in the U.S, each lasting approximately 12 months. The assignments will include a variety of experiences in unique business environments.

Examples of rotations:

• Cost Accountant:
-Member of Cost accounting team at manufacturing site
-Responsibilities may include:
-Inventory costing, setting of inventory standards, physical inventory management, variance analysis, working capital improvement initiatives, excess and obsolete inventory analysis.

• General Accountant/Financial Analyst:
-Member of Cost accounting team at manufacturing or headquarter site
-Responsibilities may include:
-Financial statement reporting, capital expenditure analysis, variance analysis, budget to actual reporting and analysis, business performance/KPI setting, calculations, monitoring, and improvement initiatives.

• Internal Auditor:
-Member of Audit services headquartered in Berwyn, PA
-Responsibilities may include:
-Performing operational and financial audits at our operating locations worldwide; assist businesses in identifying controls and opportunities for improvement; support due diligence and/or integration of acquisitions.

• Project Based Assignments (based on business need)

Following the rotational program, you will have the opportunity to interview for a variety of financial management roles at AMETEK’s operating facilities.

Position Requirements:
Qualifications for the program:
• Minimum 3.0 grade point average
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• Flexible and adaptable to new situations
• Inquisitive nature and a passion for solving problems
• Ability to work both independently and as a team contributor
• Ability to relocate multiple times throughout the United States for expanded career opportunities
