POSITION PURPOSE
The Marketing Communications Sr. Specialist, Digital is a key member of the Marketing Communications team for the Healthcare division of PDI, supporting the company’s increased focus on digital marketing. Reporting to a motivated, reliable and willing-to-train Manager of Marketing Communications, this role is tasked with increasing our digital footprint thus increasing loyalty and engagement from our customers and stakeholders.
This role is designed to support 50% creative execution and 50% measuring success through data and analytics. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of experience developing and deploying digital campaigns across a variety of channels (i.e. website, social, email, PPC) as well as experience using analytic tools (i.e. Google Analytics, HotJar, Sprout Social).
A candidate who is organized, self-motivated, eager to learn new skills, and who has a strong foundation in digital marketing will thrive in this position.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES
Development and execution of campaigns / content in support of strategic initiatives
Content
Work with various team members to identify, write and publish compelling content to help establish PDI as a leader in the industry.
Route content for approval through established internal process.
Website
Update existing and add new (approved) website copy and featured content
Support and optimize SEO, as well as keyword-rich content
Coordinate monthly execution of the healthcare blog
Assist with coordination of Continuing Education courses
On-going website testing to identify “bugs” and inconsistencies in user experience
Social
Develop and maintain social media content calendar
Create engaging social media content that adheres to brand voice, tone and guidelines
Develop target profiles for sponsored posts
Monitor social conversations and social influencer opportunities via Sprout Social.
Identify user-generated content to add to the regular posting schedule
Email
Maintain and segment subscriber lists to ensure effective targeting
Build and deploy e-mail campaigns, including the monthly e-newsletter
PPC
Support PPC campaigns in Google Ads, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, and other Ad platforms.
Digital sales tools (i.e. “Advantage Analyzer” and “Insight”)
Content updates and functionality testing
New feature development
Rep training and on-going engagement
Project Management:
Successfully manage multiple projects concurrently. Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget.
Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring feasibility.
Develop detailed project plans with budget and timeline.
Coordinate internal resources and agencies/vendors for the execution of projects.
Present project updates to management or other audiences.
Establish benchmarks and reports for all digital marketing efforts
Utilize Google Analytics and other data platforms (i.e. HotJar / Sprout Social) to track and provide insights on user behaviors
Monitor status of email campaign operations and analyze results to improve performance
Track and measure success of social media initiatives with reporting and analytics
Identify opportunities, the latest trends and best practices in the social
Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns. Provide monthly reports on analytics to broader team
PERFORMANCE MEASUREMENTS

QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:
Bachelor degree in Marketing or Communications.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Proficient in creating basic reports by manipulating data in Excel.
Experience with Adobe Photoshop required.
InDesign and illustrator a plus working knowledge of social media platforms required (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn).
Experience with marketing automation and CRM tools required (HubSpot or similar program)
Experience using WordPress CMS strongly desired.
Experience using Google Analytics dashboards strongly desired.
Experience using Google AdWords a plus.
Previous experience with Salesforce.com a plus.
Strong knowledge of email KPIs, metrics, and reporting.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Minimum 2 years in marketing or communications. Healthcare industry experience a plus.
Minimum 2 years of experience implementing digital programs, including email marketing and CRM, social media, website maintenance.
Additional experience developing reports using Google analytics a plus.
