DUTIES: Apply advanced engineering and scientific knowledge to architecture, design and development work in a research and development environment for high value technology and solutions tied to the strategic direction of the company. Conduct design and development work in the areas of new products/technologies, systems/platform architecture, hardware/software development engineering, technical security and QA design/certification. Work on new and emerging technologies and technical architectures on projects with a status between inception and implementation/software maturity. Serve as subject matter expert during the continuous integration/continuous deployment cycle in a production environment focused on complex design, engineering and development. Lead the delivery and work on enhancing and delivering AT&T processes and services related to network Layer 2/3/4 provisioning/configuration of ADI, ADIoD, ADIG, AVPN, Optewan, BVOIP and AT&T Switched Ethernet services. Transform target OSS to ECOMP(AT&T SDN Implementation) using AT&T Micro Services Platform. Improve the delivery and reduce overall cost of AT&T Layer 2/3/4 services. Work on strategic WhiteBox initiative for Core and Edge AT&T network. Assist in the delivery of provisioning and configuration architecture of AT&T layer 2/3/4 services. Assist Systems Engineering in defining the provisioning and configuration systems requirement for AT&T Layer 2/3/4 services. Use Java, J2EE, Springs, Hibernate, XML, JMS, Webservices (SOAP/RESTful), JavaScript, Angular 7, Oracle, and Informix on Unix as well as Windows; develop high quality code using Maven, Junit, Contivo, and Analyst; use Gradle, Jenkins, and ECO; and use Springs, Dozer, Apache Camel, DME2, JAXB, Kubernetes, Docker and JSON.
REQUIREMENTS: Requires a Master’s degree, or foreign
equivalent degree, in Computer Science or Applied Computer Science, and three
years of experience in the job offered or three years of experience using Java,
J2EE, Springs, Hibernate, XML, JMS, Webservices (SOAP/RESTful), JavaScript,
Angular 7, Oracle, and Informix on Unix as well as Windows; developing high
quality code using Maven, Junit, Contivo, and Analyst; using Gradle, Jenkins,
and ECO; and using Springs, Dozer, Apache Camel, DME2, JAXB, Kubernetes, Docker
and JSON.
