Responsible for the recruitment, interviewing, and placement of candidates, utilizing all internal and external resources available, for entry level, clerical, technical, and other positions as assigned.

Our Recruiter works in a consultative manner with hiring managers pertaining to recruitment and staffing issues; develops recruitment strategies; establishes network(s) of contacts in the community and industry; participates in ongoing projects to further develop an integrated recruitment process for Legacy Health. Prepares reports relating to recruitment activity and productively identifies and participates in policy and program development in collaboration with consultants and other HR staff.


Bachelor's Degree in human resources, business administration, or related field, or equivalent applicable experience required. Professional certification in specialty area preferred.

One to two years of human resource/recruiting experience to include interviewing and assessing candidates, advertising design and placement, and development of proactive sourcing strategies preferred. Experience in a fast paced, high volume recruitment function preferred.

  • Working knowledge of all HR functional areas with an emphasis on EEOC requirements, state labor laws, immigration requirements, and ADA.
  • Experience in using behavioral interviewing techniques.
  • This position requires excellent organizational, problem-solving, written and oral communication and customer service skills. Strong negotiation and presentation and public relations/public speaking skills.
  • Positive human relations skills to interact effectively with all levels of personnel within and outside the Legacy community, including ability to motivate, convince or persuade in sensitive situations.
  • Ability to analyze and trend employment data, evaluate and apply in decision making.
  • Keyboard skills and ability to navigate electronic systems applicable to job functions.
