The Mortgage Digital Product Director is a transformation leader for the Private Bank Mortgage business. This role is responsible for overseeing a team of professionals tasked with defining a product vision, building analytically supported business cases, aligning with senior stakeholders, and flawlessly executing the enhancement roadmap for client and front office facing users. The Digital Product Director will act as a conduit between operations and technology teams and will interface with line staff, operations managers, business partners and senior leadership across both front and back offices. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of using technology and process optimization to drive transformational improvements in client experience, compliance and operational efficiency.
Primary Responsibilities
Develop and implement a strategic vision for the future state of PB Mortgage front office operations, leveraging digital innovation
Lead competitive research, perform data driven analysis and ensure structured problem solving with senior stakeholders to identify and shape transformation opportunities and recommendations
Translate the target state design into discrete and well scoped initiatives with robust business cases, tracking initiative KPIs to realize benefits
Provide direct management and/or oversight to multiple workstreams across product and tech development
Partner with business and technology leads across AWM to progress the transformation agenda and maximize the investment value of related initiatives
Update leadership and stakeholders across LOBs on roadmap, delivery milestones and change management
Ensure use of intelligent automation tools across the platform to drive business developed efficiencies that are not reliant technology resources
Drive improved Client experience across the full PB Mortgage journey
Minimum Qualifications:
Prior experience driving business operating model change, design thinking, digital transformation, and technology innovation, with proven success contributing to complex, large scale initiatives
Experience managing transformation initiatives end-to-end, delivering business objectives through design, systems implementation and operating model / process change
Proven ability to manage multiple workstreams of a large scale programs with complex interdependencies and multiple stakeholders
Strong knowledge of agile project delivery methodology, with demonstrated ability to optimize team performance
Experience in re-engineering processes, end-to-end process mapping, diagnosing business imperatives and driving change
Strong presentation and communication skills - ability to articulate and tell a story to senior leadership
Expertise in data analytics / data mining techniques and leveraging them to drive transformation objectives
Significant experience directly managing teams as well as influencing teams across the organization to achieve results. Demonstrated talent to coach / mentor / train others in the organization to raise the performance bar
Demonstrated use of intelligent automation tools like Automation Anywhere, Alteryx, Xceptor and Signavio
8+ years of experience in financial services, consulting, technology or related discipline
BS/BA or equivalent in a relevant field of study
Preferred Qualifications:
Exposure to and/or relationships with industry leading FinTech companies
Experience within the Mortgage industry, including an understanding of front office activities like lead generation/nurturing, Client contact strategy and the Client application process
Master's degree in a relevant field of study
