Your Opportunity:

• Develop a team and mentor managers


• Develop innovative data science solutions that utilize machine learning, statistical and quantitative modeling approaches


• Expand and evangelize best practices for scoping, building, validating, deploying, and monitoring data products


• Educate both internal and external stakeholders at all levels to drive implementation and adoption


• Partner with Product, Engineering, Sales, Administration and Operations leadership to formulate roadmaps, influence decision making, and drive prioritization


• Find opportunities for improvement across the business and assist in decision-making across teams

Requirements:

• A./ B.S. in computer science, systems engineering, statistics, math, business or related field required; M.A./ M.S. in statistics, math, computer science or related field preferred.


• 10+ years of Data Science experience


• 5+ years of experience managing teams


• 5+ years of experience interacting with executive & senior stakeholders


• Strong machine learning and statistical modeling expertise


• Expertise with forecasting and simulation, such as demand forecasting, order batching, and order routing techniques


• Experience in deploying machine learning algorithms and advanced modeling solutions


• Strong background in Python, R, TensorFlow, SQL, CI/CD, data warehousing


• Experience in developing advanced Data Science and ML infrastructure and systems


• Experience with data warehouses, BI platforms, scripting languages, cloud technologies


• Strong written and verbal communication skills
