The HR Employee Communications Specialist will be responsible for coordinating and executing HR's communication strategy for a global employee audience. The communications specialist will be, at different times, a writer, project manager, critical and creative thinker, storyteller, and communication consultant.
At the direction of the HR Communications Leader, coordinate with subject matter experts on communication content and messaging to execute to an established communication strategy.
Support local and global delivery of approved communications materials through multiple channels to inform and inspire employees.
Document, update, and help execute communication plans for people initiatives within the organization such as career development, on-boarding, training, Inclusion and Diversity, recognition, compensation, etc.
Contribute to the creation of a wide variety of materials such as presentations, email messages, web content, newsletters, etc.
Review and approve communications developed by others for effectiveness and consistency of key strategic messages
Manage an HR communications process and calendar to ensure effective and timely planning, creation, reviews and approvals, and delivery of communications.
Support HR employee specific communication efforts, such as all hands meetings
Create reports to evaluate communications activities and gain insights into readership, viewership, and engagement with communications content
Minimum Qualifications
Exceptional oral and written communication skills
A clear and creative writing style and developed editing skills
A passion for strategic communications, and how to measure its impact on the employee experience
Ability to understand, structure, and present complex information, in various forms (email, presentations, speeches), precisely and clearly to a variety of audiences
A Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Affairs, or related field
3-5 years of Communications experience
Technology, semiconductor, or equipment industry experience preferred
