We are seeking an inspiring Temporary Part-Time Research Director who is seasoned in primary and/or secondary research (including measurement expertise). Our staff engages in client projects relating to a wide range of industries including brand, food and beverage, corporate, healthcare, and more. We're a passionate and close-knit team who fosters initiatives and who is committed to innovation and constant improvement. The Temporary Research Director will lead or assist in quantitative and qualitative research and/or secondary research projects with a highly consultative mindset, working in partnership with account teams and clients to solve their objectives and challenges. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong entrepreneurial and collaborative spirit, coupled with a solid, strategic mindset.

Lead the development of research design, sampling plans, questionnaires, moderator guides and analytical plans
Lead the analysis and interpretation of data and work closely with research team to create a compelling story that meets client objectives
Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of the client's business, products and services along with the broader industry, particularly related to client objectives (business and research, big picture and day-to-day)
Create and deliver insightful, visually compelling deliverables that clearly and concisely answer client objectives and provide value to the client including detailed findings, implications, and strategic recommendations
Write questionnaires/guides to meet research objectives, leverage data tabulations/banners to conduct analysis, providing specifications on advanced analytics methodologies to data science team, managing reporting and deliverables
Act as primary client contact responsible for overall client satisfaction and quality control on all client deliverables from the team
Build and nurture relationships with colleagues and external clients through networking and communication skills
Recognize and proactively seek out new business opportunities or potential upselling on existing client account work; identify opportunities for revenue growth and profitability of client accounts to meet the firm's revenue goals
Create strategic new business solutions by understanding client objectives and scoping projects to meet objectives accordingly
Supervise and mentor junior staff to help grow their research, project and client management skills
You're setup for success if: Qualified candidates have most, if not all, of the following...
BA/BS degree in related field with at least seven years of experience in market research, brand and communication consulting, insights creation, strategy development and/or media research
Strong knowledge in advanced research methodologies
Proactive, collaborative approach with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues
Intellectually curious with a consultative mindset
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
Extremely detail-oriented with excellent written and verbal communication skills
Comfortable with managing project financials to ensure projects stay on budget
Ability to multi-task and work effectively with a variety of team members and projects in a fast-paced environment
