Schedule: Tuesday - Saturday, 12:30 AM - 9:00 AM


The Fleet Administrative Assistant 2 will have the following responsibilities:



  1. Maintain and contribute to a safe work environment by adhering to policies and procedures as outlined in the Company Safety Program.

  2. Complete Line Haul administrative duties as assigned, including creating reports, inputting data, making copies, and speaking with drivers.

  3. Effectively set up carriers for multiple facilities, track loads, call out service on breakdowns.

  4. Plan out loads both for priority of how to load and for convenience.

  5. Analyze and resolve work problems or assist workers in problem resolution.

  6. Determine appropriate resolution of escalated employee/customer service issues.

  7. Prepare multiple business transaction/efficiency –related operational analysis reports on a daily basis.

  8. Responsible for oversight of various compliance related items.

  9. Perform any other task or assignment as deemed necessary by the organization.

 


This position requires:



  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

  • The ability to effectively present information and respond to questions.

  • The ability to communicate and interface with many vendors, and corporate employees.

  • The ability to read and apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral form.

  • The ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

  • The ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

  • The ability to apply strict confidentiality rules to daily workload.

  • The ability to problem solve.

 


Must possess a minimum of two years administrative/clerical experience; or related schooling or training; or the equivalent combination of both. High School diploma or GED accepted with appropriate training and experience.
