The Registrar
Representative PRN
will g
reet patients/customers
professionally and cordially in the Radiology department as well as answer
telephone calls professionally and efficiently, providing appropriate
information to the caller.
 


  • You will key appropriate information into Meditech Information System to
    provide requisitions to work areas.  Call
    each area as patients arrive. 


  • You will prepare files for loan, accurately completing loan out
    information in Meditech. Upon return of files, accurately completes login
    information and replaces in file room.


  • Retrieve files for next day scheduled procedures and distributes to
    appropriate areas.


  • Retrieve files from file rooms, radiologists’ offices.  Replace files to appropriate area.

  • Maintain radiology files, CD logs and burns CD’s as needed. 

  • You will possess a working knowledge of PACS, PACSCube, Powerscribe and
    Digitizer etc.


  • Retrieves and copies films for legal and medical purposes.

Qualifications


  • Completion of basic computer course with one year
    of office and computer experience is required


  • Graduate of accredited secretarial school with
    completion of formal computer courses preferred


  • Two (2) years’ experience as a full service
    secretary in a healthcare office environment is also preferred
