Position Objective:

Maintains quality standards by approving the incoming materials, in process production, and finished products, and recording quality results.

 

Key Responsibilities:


  • Approves incoming materials by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement test; rejecting unacceptable materials

  • Approves in process production by confirming specifications conducting visual and measurement tests; communicating required adjustments to production supervisor.

  • Visually inspect and repair filters according to specifications

  • Document inspection results by completing reports and logs; summarizing re-work and waste.

  • Keeps measurement equipment operating by following operating instructions; calling for repairs

  • Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures

  • Accomplishes quality and organization mission by completing related results as needed 

 

Technical Requirements:

 


  1. Manual dexterity required for operating machinery and computers.

  2. Basic knowledge of computers.

 

Knowledge/Experience:

 


  1. 6 months of recent (within 1 year) assembly/quality work in a manufacturing setting.

  2. Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required. This is normally acquired through a high school diploma or equivalent.  (Must be able to read, write, and speak in English.

  3. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds required.

  4. Knowledge and minimum 6 months Experience using a Tape Measure
