The successful candidate will collaborate with various project teams to develop and maintain project schedules. This position interfaces closely with Manufacturing, Product Management, Engineering, Procurement, Installation, and Supply Chain organizations to gain input on contractual project deliverables and commitments.
Communicate all pertinent information to project teams and stakeholders the project schedule status. Identify predictive emerging risks to the project timely completion of all deliverables, potential financial impacts, and other schedule-related issues.
Collaborate and communicate with project teams on schedule aspects and how changes to project activities can impact the completion dates though identification of key interdependencies and predictive analysis (Monte Carlo as an example). Analyze the impact of proposed changes to project schedule and identify actions to resolve negative schedule impact, or otherwise unacceptable delays.
Provide council to project teams on how to gain schedule contingency on those assigned projects.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to assist in process standardization and improving business practices.
Ensure strategy is being integrated into the schedule tasks and activities.
Follow all safety procedures related to any on site meetings or visits.
Qualifications
Qualifications & Requirements
B.Sc. in a Construction Management technical or related field / discipline preferred. Experience considered in lieu of a technical degree.
Three to five years’ experience as a project scheduler.
Training and/or experience in Quality management systems, problem solving methodologies, and continuous improvement experience preferred.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Project and ERP systems.
