Position Summary:


The Director of Marketing is a go-getter looking for an exciting opportunity with a purpose-driven company. This person will be responsible for leading and executing a successful data-driven lead generation strategy in a hands-on way that will result in driving brand awareness, qualified leads, and conversion at the community level. The Director will be responsible for the management of executing the multi-channel strategy with a heavy emphasis on digital to drive community visibility and leads. This critical role will be the key liaison to our community and sales teams, guiding them on effective marketing strategies to drive leads in their markets. The ideal candidate will have a diverse marketing background, a performance mindset, and proven track-record in driving measurable results. This person must be comfortable in and able to navigate a matrix environment and must be willing to toggle between strategy and execution daily.


Responsibilities:



  • Develop and manage a multi-channel marketing strategy that translates the brand’s key differentiators into compelling messaging that drives action. Leverage a wide range of channels, (including but not limited to digital (email/CRM, PPC, paid social, affiliates, influencers and partnerships), print, direct mail, events, referral partner outreach) to drive brand visibility, quality leads and profitable conversion

  • Responsible for day-to-day management of digital campaigns, agency partner and one direct report

  • Collaborate with the appropriate regional and community sales teams to understand their needs and execute the appropriate local marketing strategy

  • Responsible for collaborating with internal teams on communication and successful implementation of community and system-wide company/marketing programs

  • Understand key target segment personas and their customer journeys in order to effectively reach and engage audiences as part of a full-funnel strategy

  • Understand all customer data sources and partner with internal and agency team to optimize how data is used to inform and drive marketing strategy/tactical efforts; help optimize marketing budgets to drive efficient and quality leads

  • Drive relevant digital innovation, and a robust test and learn strategy across channels

  • Support VP in defining an end-to-end customer journey and become a champion throughout the company in communicating the intended engagement at every touchpoint; partner with team to evolve and enhance messaging and content based on objectives

  • Support best practice sharing, standardization and marketing process across the company

  • Understand the competitive market landscape, consumer target mindset, economic trends and business needs to inform relevant marketing strategy & execution

  • Serve as an ultimate brand ambassador to our residents, employees and external partners, enthusiastically representing the brand values and helping drive the company mission


Qualifications:


Required Qualifications



    • A Bachelor's degree, preferably in marketing or business

    • Candidate must have a minimum of 10 years of digital and offline marketing experience and at least 5 years of management experience including teams and agencies

    • Proven track record leading successful integrated multi-channel marketing strategies and initiatives, including digital marketing, and delivering measurable results.

    • Deep understanding of the digital landscape (email, mobile, video, PPC, SEO, website, social, digital marketing) and role it plays in lead generation

    • Experience in developing ‘test & learn’ strategies, lead scoring and tactics for improvement

    • Strong leadership skills and proven track record of developing meaningful and lasting relationships in a lean and matrixed environment

    • Creative, resourceful, curious and expertly capable of transforming data into insights and action plans

    • Successful in building marketing capability, credibility and skill in an organization still building best practices and trust

    • Understanding of analytics and database tools such as Excel, Google Analytics, Tableau, Marketo; knowledge and prior usage of tools like Facebook Ad Manager, AdWords, Tableau is a plus.

    • Strong project management and organizational skills with high detail orientation that leads to high quality results and outcomes

    • Ability to lead, collaborate and communicate with all levels of organization in a fast-paced environment while demonstrating professional, positive attitude at all times
      Confident, outgoing and professional personality who has a guest-centric and empathetic mindset

    • Written and verbal communications that are clear and consistent

    Preferred Qualifications



    • Masters of Business Administration (MBA) 

    • Previous experience in hospitality, healthcare or related industry; corporate or agency side
