Summary

This part time opportunity may be eligible for a sign on bonus of up to $10,000 for experienced RN's and $5,000 for New Grads.  Current Maine Health Employees are not eligible.

    The Registered Nurse provides patient care utilizing the nursing process in inpatient and outpatient facilities.

  Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
  
  
  • 
    Education: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or a graduate of an accredited Nursing program required.
    
  
  
  • 
    License/Certifications: Licensed as a registered professional nurse by the Maine State Board of Nursing required.
    
  
  
  • 
    Experience: 1+ year of psychiatric nursing experience preferred.
    
  
  
  • 
    Knowledge of counseling theory, physical and psychological effects of mental illness and substance abuse preferred
    
  
  
  • 
    Knowledge of bio-psychosocial assessments required
