Job Description:
Summary: Drives continuous improvement in Materials Disciplines to include Receiving, Warehouse operations, Shipping, Kitting and party presentation, and Planning processes.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Establishing baseline performance in Materials processes, including value stream mapping.
Collect and Analyze data for improving and sustaining improvements in the areas of : cost, inventory performance, quality, key performance indicators, and operational performance.
Identify key areas of improvement and lead improvement projects
Benchmark world class processes and help and drive best practices within the organization.
Prepares short and long-range plans. Monitors progress.
Gather and analyze data from ERP and WMS systems.

Qualifications:

Education/Experience:
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university in business administration, supply chain, industrial engineering, or related field. Demonstrated experience with improvement projects.
Language Ability:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence, and speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Math Ability:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. Ability to do analysis in Excel.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Office software suite, inventory/manufacturing software and database software. Experience in an ERP environment (Oracle experience is a plus.). Computer assisted design ability a plus.
Certificates and Licenses:
No certifications required. APICS certification a plus.
