Summary

The Sample Room Associate is responsible for all aspects of opening, assembling, wrapping, storing and issuing of merchandise in support of Sourcing and Product Development teams. Must be willing to work Monday-Friday from 7:30am until 4:00pm and some Saturdays as needed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Package – Wrap merchandise to ensure product is properly protected for transit.


• Work with the Mock Store to assist with wrapping and moving of furniture to designated areas.


• Generate paperwork used for movement of merchandise within warehouse. 

Education, Experience and Other Qualifications:

• High school diploma; College degree preferred


• 1-2 years of experience in warehouse setting


• Computer proficiency: Working knowledge of computer programs


• Understanding of general work practices in warehousing and distribution, including order picking, packing, and shipping processes and procedures.


• Dedicated to business and willing to adjust schedule and hours as needed to manage department

Essential Functions of the Position: 

• Performing tasks in a standing position for extended periods of time.


• Repetitive movements.


• No physical limitations that limit the ability to carry and move furniture weighing up to 130 pounds.


• Consistent regular scheduled attendance is considered an essential function of this job.
