Job Description:

• Understands RMF assessment and DoD Risk Management Framework (RMF) accreditation packages


• Understands the technical application of STIGs to one or more of the following: Windows Server, Redhat Linux, Cisco network equipment (firewalls, switches, routers), Cisco UCS hardware, Microsoft Active Directory, and/or Microsoft SharePoint


• Proper execution of the appropriate verification methods for requirements/controls


• Proper execution of security tools and test methods identified (DISA SCAP, SRR)


• Review proper analysis of testing results


• Review documentation as applicable to controls


• Ability to provide an independent assessment. Ensure security controls are implemented correctly, operating as intended, and are producing the desired outcome.


• This position requires interaction with customers within the Army community


• Maintains current knowledge of relevant technology as assigned.


• Completes weekly and monthly report requirements.


• Participates in special projects as required.

Education

MA/MS or equivalent years of experience

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of systems administration and information assurance experience


• Secret DoD Security Clearance with a T5 investigation


• 8570 certification: IAT Level II Certification (CASP+ CE, CCNP Security, CISA, CISSP (or Associate), GCED, GCIH)


• VCP, CCNP, MCITP or equivalent certification within 6 months of hire date
