Our Consulting practice seeks an experienced advisory/consulting professional with audit and transactions due diligence experience to join our Financial Advisory Services team as a Senior Consultant focused on Transaction Services. In this position you will work as part of a team that performs due diligence engagements for both private equity and corporate buyers, analyzing and evaluations financial statements and operating trends that help define sustainable earnings for clients in a variety of industries.
Professional Responsibilities:
Work as a part of a team performing financial due diligence engagements for clients in a variety of industries
Perform financial analysis and evaluations of client financial statements and operating procedures to identify trends in sustainable earnings
Perform analysis on assigned tasks that include quality of earnings, financial trends and working capital calculations
Assist with preparation of reports, presentations and other client deliverables
Keep firm partners and client management aware of any significant matters identified that impact the engagement and client's financial position
Maintain a professional demeanor in a demanding, deadline-driven team environment at all times
Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting, Finance or a Business-related field of study
2-3 years of relevant work experience in audit or consulting, with transaction advisory services experience
Experience in a CPA firm, a professional services firm or a consulting practice
Solid understanding of technical accounting areas such as US GAAP and IFRS
Prior experience with data room products
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite tools
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both oral and written)
Solid business writing aptitude
Travel to client locations as needed
Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
