Job Description:

Job Responsibilities
A Product Engineer 2 will have the opportunity to work and collaborate across different organizations to resolve technical, quality, and production challenges, as well as develop excellence in product design and manufacturing.
• Responsible for designing and developing product/ product family
• Assist in new product introduction and production support engineering for a specific product or group of products after transfer from design to in-house or outsourced production
• Interface with design, process, test, reliability and manufacturing engineering to solve product issues and production problems
• Develop and sustain process improvements to reduce production costs and increase yields
• Audit and document supply base performance on critical process of records and overall quality management systems

Other Job Responsibilities

Minimum Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 2 years of related experience; or an advanced degree without experience; or equivalent work experience
• Ability to complete tasks and learn the required skills with minimal guidance
• Solid understanding of statistical process control and basic statistical analysis used in production setting
• Comfortable with travelling
• Must have exceptional analytical and experimental design skills
• Prior experience with MS office tools (ppt, excel, project), statistical tools (JMP, Minitab etc.)

Preferred Qualifications
• Creative thinking and strong problem solving and troubleshooting capabilities, including experience in the areas of mechanical engineering and chemical engineering
• Previous experience in project management
