Job Description:

The Senior Manager of HR for Supply Chain is responsible for partnering with key supply chain leaders to develop and implement Human Resource and leadership programs that focus on talent. This includes identifying and fulfilling talent needs, integrating, developing, assessing, and shaping business decisions that deliver business results and meet the overall objectives of the enterprise.

This individual is responsible for partnering with other leaders in building an environment that fully utilizes supply chain employees. This is accomplished by focusing on engagement, inclusion, diversity, innovation, effective succession planning, retention, and performance, thereby enabling an extraordinary employee and customer experience.

Key Responsibilities


  • Helps drive a positive customer experience by building relationships, exhibiting empathy, and providing solutions to their needs.

  • Partners with building leadership and business leaders at all levels to lead work in a variety of areas including talent pipeline, onboarding, assessment, integration, succession planning, performance management, organization design, and development.

  • Translates strategic and tactical business plans into meaningful talent strategies, plans, initiatives, and actions.

  • Acts as a strategic partner in supporting business transformation as well as the employee experience.

  • Leads the implementation of business initiatives and project work involving organizational structure, process improvement and organizational effectiveness.

  • Coaches leaders in aligning behaviors with The Way We Lead. Works towards increasing team effectiveness and efficiency and enabling the development and progression of employees across the organization.

  • Acts as an effective change agent and knowledgeable business partner who can influence business decisions while representing the talent system.

  • Supports enterprise transformation and enables local implementation behavior, culture, and organizational changes as needed.

  • Partners with the Centers of Expertise (COE) to learn and share opportunities for development and enhancement of HR programs, policies, trends, and networks in service of the employee experience.

  • Communicates and partners with Market HR Managers and local Field Leaders as the subject matter expert for supply chain in support of our employees in regional distribution center (RDC), delivery and distribution center (DDC) and service depots.

Basic Qualifications
  • 4 years of experience in Human Resources or as a general manager/district leader
Preferred Qualifications

  • Multi-Unit Services Experience

  • HR Certification
