Georgia-Pacific's Corporate IT organization is looking for an IT Project Management Leader. The role will lead a team of Project Managers and will be primarily responsible for defining, enabling, and promoting project management excellence as a capability within the Corporate Data Delivery & Enterprise Intelligent Automation team. Collaborating throughout IT on project management processes will be required. This role will also work collaboratively across IT to identify, strategize, plan, design, execute, and track IT projects. It will require applying portfolio, program, project and change management principles and tools to ensure best practices are adopted, utilized, and continually improved. The position is expected to define and drive adoption of agile frameworks & methodologies.

What You Will Do In Your Role
Lead a team of 2+ Project Managers through all phases of the project execution lifecycle
Maintain and recruit a team of skilled Project Management staff, internal and external to the company, to effectively deliver on projects
Develop team members (Program/Project Managers) & drive MBM culture
Work as a hands-on, end to end, project manager for strategic projects as needed
Define and drive adoption of consistent agile project management principles, processes, and frameworks within the organization (Agile Coach)
Work with IT and business leaders to collect, prioritize, resource, and manage projects across multiple areas
Work with project team to adequately scope, manage and monitor vendor engagements
Effective engage and build relationships with IT, business stakeholders and our vendor partners to facilitate value-based project planning
Utilize project and financial methodologies and subjective feedback to monitor the health of projects and the portfolio
Leverage strong communicating skills across all levels of stakeholders and executives to keep the organization informed of project health
Identify and work through issues and bottlenecks during all project phases and escalate when required
Accept and apply constructive feedback and suggestions and professionally deal with the unexpected
Leadership skills in interacting with both business and IT individuals at all levels including the executive level, leading cross-functional teams, on-shore/off-shore development /Vendors in a matrixed environment
Motivate, mentor, and coach project teams that are dynamic, solution oriented, and delivery driven
Proven ability to manage stakeholder expectations
Ability to collaborate with customers and develop relationships, strategies, and solutions of high business value
Excellent analytical, planning, and organizational skills

The Experience You Will Bring
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
At least 8 years of professional Project/Program Management experience working in a large, cross functional organization
Experience working on large ($1M+), complex (multi-system, multi-vendor) projects from charter to adoption
Experience leading projects using both agile and waterfall methodologies
Experience with Planview, MS Project or other project management software
What Will Put You Ahead
Experience applying economic thinking, project and value realization metrics, and project costing and accounting
Experience using Azure DevOps to manage teams and requirements
PMP Certification
Scrum Master Certification
Excellent skills in PowerPoint, Excel, and collaboration tools and technologies
Experience leading large multi-site, multi-year projects
Program/Project experience in a manufacturing environment
