CORPORATE SALES TRAINER II
Office Based / Full time / Raleigh/Durham - North Carolina
Full product training and relocation support given.
The Sales Trainer II is responsible for facilitating learning to prepare Sales organization to achieve sales quota, ensure a profitable sale and support marketing objectives through training initiatives while operating within the company policies/procedures and expense budget. Responsibilities include developing, creating and delivering content for all levels of training classes and sales meetings, in an effort to improve the knowledge and skills of sales team. In addition, the Sales Trainer works collaboratively with other training team personnel, Field Sales, Sales Management, Marketing, and other Bioventus personnel to create and execute training tactics to address the needs of Sales.

What you'll be doing
Supports the training needs of the Bioventus sales organization to ensure the company meets and/or exceeds overall key performance indicators including sales revenue, growth objectives, gross profit, etc;
Implements training tactics to support the company's sales and marketing strategies;
Develops and conducts internal and external training sessions for sales representatives to include (but not limited to):
New Hire Training
Science Summits
Assist with logistics for external and internal training
Advanced Sales Training
Training for National or Regional Sales Meetings
Collaborates with outside vendors and suppliers as required to supplement the learning process;
Improves overall sales effectiveness/capacity through technology and process improvement/optimization/efficiency;
Collaborates with Marketing to ensure training plans achieve the product marketing objectives;
Evaluates sales rep performance during training and field rides and provides feedback, making suggestions for improvement;
Ensures compliance with all Bioventus policies in all training activities and personal performance, (i.e. Advamed Code of Ethics);
Facilitates Advanced Training and additional training via webinars;
Creates distance learning modules for Biolearn;
Achieves certifications required to successfully execute the training activities.

Bachelor's Degree;
Proven track record of territory management including regularly exceeding quota;
Strong analytical capability with respect to deal profitability and problem solving;
Excellent oral and written communication skills;
Strong presentation skills;
Ability to coach; adapt and change as needed;
Must understand various sales strategies in order to capitalize on sales consultant's opportunities and competitive threats;
Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel);
Minimum 2 years successful sales experience
Sales management experience preferred
Experience in medical device or orthopeadics is preferred
Ideally at least 12 months of experience as a sales trainer
Strong work ethic and self-starter, able to effectively manage multiple priorities and adapt to change within a fast-paced business environment;
Working cooperatively with others to help a team or work group achieve its goals;
Effectively managing one's time and resources to ensure that work is completed efficiently.
