How you will do it
As a DevOps engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the readiness and stability of our systems. You will also actively participate in the design and development of new and innovative tools and services.
Create and maintain cloud-based solutions.
Build the infrastructure required for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data from a wide variety of data sources.
Work with stakeholders including Product, Data and Design teams to assist with technical issues and support their data infrastructure needs.
Building and supporting large scale clusters in a production environment and achieving fault tolerance among them.
What we look for
Required
BS/MS degree in Computer Science / Engineering or related fields.
2+years of experience with DevOps.
2 years of experience in running cloud services and managing container-based workloads and container orchestration using Kubernetes, etc.
Experience using and maintaining production environments for various cloud platforms (GCP/Azure preferred).
Deep understanding of Cloud Computing and micro-services paradigms
Strong system administration background for Linux based systems
Operational experience in deploying and managing one or more components like Flink, Load Balancers, MySQL, Cassandra, ElasticSearch, Grafana etc.
Results driven, great attention to detail, and a team player
Skilled in interpersonal communication and relationships. Ability to clearly explain analytical findings to business partners, researchers, and engineers
Preferred
Experience with large scale deployments with high uptime requirements.
Troubleshoot and resolve live production issues by analyzing logs from different sources.
