Division Office

Physicians Mutual is hiring for a full time Division Office Coordinator to perform administrative functions in our Division Office. The chosen individual will assist the Manager with agent recruiting and prospecting. Conducts agent training, processes paperwork and coordinates all functions for the office. Provides professional and quality customer service to Policyholders, Agents, Third Party Administrators and Home Office personnel.

Job Qualifications:

• High school education or its equivalent is required.


• 1 year of post high school accounting or bookkeeping coursework or its equivalent is required.


• Knowledge of insurance department regulations and forms is helpful.


• Self-motivated and able to operate with minimal supervision.


• Knowledge of policy language, product coverage for Physicians Mutual.


• Knowledge of Company policies and procedures.


• Strong supervisory and training skills.


• Strong personal computer skills, including Internet Navigation, Microsoft Word, Excel and related software programs.


• Strong written and verbal communication skills.


• Ability to establish and maintain effective professional relationships with Home Office, Third Party Administrators and Agents.


• Strong organizational skills and the ability to coordinate several activities simultaneously under deadlines.


• Ability to analyze and audit financial transactions to identify inappropriate use of funds.
